High-level plan for CPOC integration implementation
The high-level plan for CPOC integration implementation into the CACWT system is outlined in the following phases:
- March: The plan will be announced to the Probation Advisory Committee (PAC). A volunteer form will be initiated to recruit approximately 20 probation staff for soft launch testing.
- Communication: The full public timeline is planned to be published on the Cacwit Partner page around by early June, after CPOC has completed all levels of internal communication steps.
- Internal Pilot Testing: Simultaneously with the volunteer recruitment, internal pilot testing will begin with CPOC staff, including the training committee, to gather feedback as system users and to train them on back-end work like report pulling.
- Soft Launch (June/July): Actual probation staff volunteers will test the system and provide feedback. Volunteers will be divided into two groups (existing CACWT users and new users) for tailored training.
- Adjustments (August): This month is reserved for making necessary system adjustments based on the feedback gathered during the soft launch period.
- September Communications for Enrollment Registration
- Hard Launch (September): The hard launch involves moving all CPOC users to the new CPOC affiliation for management, and opening enrollment for the Placement Core Course. Users will not begin taking the course until December.
