Administrators: Section Management - Managing the Waitlist
Description:
When learners register for courses that have reached capacity, they are placed on a waitlist. In CACWT, administrators have had difficulty managing that waitlist, due to visibility. This section shows how a new Waiting List menu option can be used to actively view and manage the list.
Instructions:
1. From the sidebar of your CACWT dashboard, select Sections and click on Sections from the drop-down menu that opens.

2. Search for the section you’d like access to by using the filters, which include the section ID number, Section name, Status, Affiliation, Instructors, Start Date, End Date, Number of Enrollments, the enrollment Cap, Credits, Terms, LMS, and LMS ID.

3. Once located, click on the section’s ID number or name and you will be taken to the section’s information page by default. Aside from accessing the usual Section information, new options has been added in the lower grouping of menu item. Note the Waiting List menu item.

Waiting List
Upon viewing the Waiting List option, a number appears highlighting the number of learners that are currently on the waitlist of the course. If no number appears, it means that the course is not at capacity.
Clicking on the menu item, gives the list of learners on the waiting list, as shown below. From there, the administrator can perform two actions:
Enroll - Enroll selected learners into the desired course. This only applies if capacity is available. Forced enrollment will not be done here.
Remove by Request - Remove Selected Learners from Waitlist.
